After the first IMOVE Ideathon in Turin late October, last weekend it was time for the IMOVE Ideathon in the beautiful city of Gothenburg!
Co-hosted by Y4PT
(Youth For Public Transport), the event provided a great platform for young people to present and discuss their ideas on mobility of the future and sustainable transport. IMOVE partners Vässtrafik
and RISE Viktoria
also attended the day and took part in the jury. The ideathon was held in the Ericsson's office at Lindholmen Science Park.
During the course of three days, 66 people divided over 10 teams pitched their ideas to a special jury, and in the end only four teams were voted through to the final.
Big winner of the Ideathon was MOVED
: a project seeking to achieve clean air and healthy cities with the help of air pollution data, using this data to enable sustainable transport planning. MOVED perfectly combines public transport and the innovative use of data.
Congratulations to MOVED: you will be going to the UITP Global Public Transport Summit
2019 in Stockholm, where you will be meeting the winners of the other Ideathons!
